Apple launched tech fashion minimalist design

   Apple and legendary Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE have teamed up to introduce a groundbreaking new accessory: the iPhone Pocket. Inspired by the ISSEY MIYAKE design philosophy of “a piece of cloth,” this minimalist yet functional product redefines how users carry and interact with their iPhone.

Available starting Friday, November 14, the iPhone Pocket  Apple-iPhone-Pocket-and-ISSEY-MIYAKE-short-strap-colorswill be sold exclusively at select Apple Store locations and apple.com in the U.S., UK, France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Greater China.

A Seamless Blend of Technology and Fashion

Crafted in Japan, the iPhone Pocket showcases a singular 3D-knitted construction that flexibly fits any iPhone model while accommodating other small essentials. The design pays homage to ISSEY MIYAKE’s signature pleated fabric, delivering both texture and utility. Its ribbed open structure expands and subtly reveals the contents inside — offering users a glimpse of their iPhone display without removing it from the pocket.

“The design of iPhone Pocket speaks to the bond between iPhone and its user,” said Yoshiyuki Miyamae, design director of MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO. “We wanted to express the joy of wearing iPhone your own way — through a design that leaves space for interpretation and individuality.”

Apple’s Take on Functional Elegance

Echoing Apple’s commitment to simplicity and craftsmanship, Molly Anderson, Apple’s vice president of Industrial Design, added:

“Apple and ISSEY MIYAKE share a design approach that celebrates craftsmanship, simplicity, and delight. This clever extra pocket is a natural accompaniment to our products — offering a beautiful, personal way to carry your iPhone and essentials.”

The color palette was intentionally designed to complement every iPhone model and color, allowing users to personalize their look.

Colors, Styles, and Pricing

The short strap design of iPhone Pocket is available in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black, retailing for $149.95 (U.S.).
The long strap design — available in sapphire, cinnamon, and black — is priced at $229.95 (U.S.).

Both versions can be worn by hand, tied to a bag, or worn crossbody, embodying ISSEY MIYAKE’s fluid approach to fashion and Apple’s versatile user experience.
